The New School Bonds

Have you heard the latest radio ads for the   “The New Jersey Economic Development Authority, School Facilities Construction Program?”  These are the bonds that Governor Stupidhead and the other idiots in Trenton are issuing that will result in another $4 billion of debt.  But, before you run out to buy these bonds, you better read this first:

What is a New Jersey Appropriation-Backed Bond?
Appropriation-Backed bonds are issued by a New Jersey Independent Authority (for example, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority or the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund Authority).  Appropriation-Backed bonds are used for various projects including school construction, road construction, and facilities for individuals with special needs.  Appropriation-Backed bonds are secured by payments received by the Independent Authority from the State pursuant to a contract, lease or other agreement between the State and the Independent Authority in which the State agrees to make payments equal to the debt service and other costs relating to the bonds. However, such payments are subject to appropriation from time to time by the New Jersey State Legislature and the State Legislature has no legal obligation to make such appropriations. Appropriation-Backed bonds are not general obligations of the State.

What they are saying is that we the people of New Jersey do not have to pay them back!  Now considering how much debt we have incurred lately in this state, the prospect of actually defaulting could be pretty high.

For all of the idiots in Trenton, bankruptcy is not out of the question in this state, but until we can clean house and get our accounts back in order next November, just remember, “IT’S TAXES, STUPID!”

Governor Stupidhead says we are saved!

Today it was reported that Governor Stupidhead or Governor Corzine to the dem-lite’s, says that New Jersey is close to $4 billion in stimulus money.  Wow, we can now just sit back, have another beer and our worries are over.  And if the stimulus money from the OH-GREAT Wizard of Obama is based on population, New Jersey might even get $6 billion.

What the hell is Governor Stupidhead trying to sell us here anyway?  This money is nothing but a loan that the United States has to assume.  This kind of fiscal planning is the same crap idea that has swollen the debt owed by New Jersey to $40 billion already and is growing larger by the minute since all of the projected income from the taxes that now make New Jersey the most taxed state in the country are not delivering what the idiots in Trenton thought it would!  And folks, no matter if the debt is owed by New Jersey or by the United States, do you know who really owes the debt?  Look in the mirror, because it is YOU!

Hey Governor Stupidhead, we can see right through what you and the great Obama are doing.  We will take care of one mistake this November and the other in four years, but until that time, just remember; “IT’S TAXES, STUPID!”

Global Warming Again

Over the past few days, I have written some posts that I hope show you that the question of “Global Warming” and “Greenhouse Gases” is far from being answered.  Here is another site that I urge you to check out.  It is a petition drive that has been launched by two professors in Oregon.  Right now they have over 31,000 signatures of which over 9,000have Phd’s!  The statement is pretty simple, the whole idea of Global Warming/Greenhouse Gases is junk science.

http://www.petitionproject.org/

Take a moment, see the petition, see who have signed it, see what branches of the sciences they come from.  Start to really think about this problem, do you want to believe the likes of Al Gore, or real scientists?

No matter what the idiots in Trenton think about Global Warming, just remember we are coming for you in November, but until then, “IT’S TAXES, STUPID!”

The Hudson River Railroad Tunnel

Thursday, it was announced that the federal government had approved giving $3 billion in federal funding to build the new Hudson River Railroad Tunnel.  Here is the link to the full story as reported in the Star Ledger:

http://www.nj.com/starledger/stories/index.ssf?/base/news-12/1231997169199520.xml&coll=1

It took me awhile to think about this, since some of the claims made did not make any sense, in light of the information that I had posted a few days ago.  At that time, the claim was made that 4,000 jobs would be created for the $8.7 billion that would be spent on this Choo-Choo tunnel.  If you did the math, each job would be created for $2,175,000.00 per job, or $310,000.00 per year over the seven year period estimated that the construction would take. Now, the claim is made that this project will create 40,000 to 50,000 jobs!  Well, lets do the math again.  If we can get 50,000 jobs, that would be $174,000.00 per job, or $24,857.00 per year of the project.  Now, that sounds great except for the fact that no construction worker in New Jersey would do the job for about 25 thousand a year.  so it seems that the 40,000 to 50,000 is just not a real figure on job creation.  Also, think about this, 50,000 is about the same amount of people who would fill Giants stadium.  Where are all of these people going to be working around this tunnel?

Another selling point being used to justify this project is the premise that 22,000 cars will be removed from the road because the drivers (and passengers) will start taking the train to work in New York City and spend their money there.  Well, if we divide 22,000 into $8.7 billion it will cost $395,455.00 per car to remove them from the roads leading to New York City.  That does not seem to be a good investment to me!  If this number is right, lets do another calculation.  If each car has one driver and three passengers, that would be four new passengers for the Choo-Choo Tunnel.  This would be about $100,000.00 per passenger cost.  Now, if the average Choo-Choo train fare was $10.00 round trip, and each person used the train 250 times per year, it would take 40 years to just obtain the fares to pay for the tunnel alone!

Give me a break, this whole Choo-Choo train tunnel idea is just one large pork-barrel project to appease the union construction workers and pay for play construction companies!  Plus, the $8.7 billion is what they want to borrow for these projects.  It does not include the interest that will have to be paid for the bonds that will be needed to actually get their hands on the money needed for this project.  Why not keep the New Jersey money, about $3 billion, and spend it to make New Jersey a more favorable place for companies to locate and create jobs here?

To Governor Stupidhead, our lunatic Senators and all of the other idiots in Washington D.C. and Trenton, “IT’S TAXES, STUPID!”

A Billion

Sometimes after going through all of the spam, an email will really hit you, here is one example:

How many zeros in a billion???

This is too true to be funny…

The next time you hear a politician use the word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about whether you want the ‘politicians’ spending YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of it’s releases.

A.

A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

B.

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

C.

A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.

D.
A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.

E.

A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes,
at the rate our government is spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain…
let’s take a look at New Orleans ….

It’s amazing what you can learn with some simple division.

Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D)
is presently asking Congress for 250 BILLION DOLLARS
to rebuild New Orleans .. Interesting number…
what does it mean?

A.
Well… if you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans
(every man, woman, and child) you each get $516,528.

B.
Or… if you have one of the 188,251 homes in
New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787.

C.
Or… if you are a family of four…your family gets $2,066,012.

Imagine, $700 billion bailing out banks in the US.

That’s enough to fund complete medical care for every man, woman and child currently alive in the US for 11 years!!
50 billion to bail out the auto industry???   Washington , D.C. & Ottawa ON.

This is going to hurt

I am sure that most of you are aware that Governor Stupidhead unveiled an aggressive plan to reduce “Greenhouse Gas Emissions” in New Jersey.  It is simple, Stupidhead’s administration will tell you what type of cars you will drive, where and when development will occur and how electricity is produced.  In other words, Comrade Stupidhead will be dictating how you live your life!

But, he has not told you how much this will cost you.  Want a ballpark estimate?  A back of the napkin, round figure is a minimum of $8,000 per family of four!  Just remember, you will pay more for yourelectric power, gasoline (if he will let you have it), oil, food (it’s trucked kids), paper, coffee, etc.  Get the idea?  Every damn thing you now purchase will be jacked up in price (along with more sales tax) because of an idiot idea being passed around about carbon emissions!  Global warming is a myth and more and more of the world scientists are proclaiming just that.  But, Comrade Stupidhead does not care about that at all, because the all wise idiot knows best!

Come November, have you bags packed  Comrade Stupidhead because you are going out with the trash, but until then just remember “IT’S TAXES, STUPID!”

Let’s spend our money for New Jersey

Once again the building of a new railroad tunnel under the Hudson river is being rammed down the throats of New Jersey taxpayers.  This tunnel is being “fast-tracked” in order to provide “Jersey jobs.”  What a crock of crap!  We are going to spend 3 billion dollars and except for a few construction jobs, that will most likely go to New York unions, we will get NOTHING!

Who will this tunnel benefit?  Well that is not hard to figure out, it will benefit New York City and New York City only!  At least 99.9% of the people who commute go from New Jersey to New York City every day.  There, they work and spend money to benefit New York City, not New Jersey.  But Governor Stupidhead wants you to believe that building this tunnel will benefit New Jersey citizens.  Of course, Corzine does not tell you that these New Jersey citizens are the few who commute to these jobs.  For the rest of us, we will get nothing from this tunnel, except for the outrageous bill to build it.

Instead of spending this 3 billion on the tunnel, how about spending it to make New Jersey cities places that businesses would want to relocate to?  Then the citizens of New Jersey would not have to commute to another state to work.  They would spend their money here.  They would use services of other New Jersey businesses.  Wealth would be created here, for the betterment of New Jersey taxpayers, not New Yorkers!  Call your assembly representatives, call your state senators, call the governor’s office and demand that New Jersey spend money for the benefit of New Jersey and not for other states!

For Governor Stupidhead and all of the other idiots in Trenton, we are coming for you next November, but until then just remember, “IT’S TAXES, STUPID!”

Governor Stupidhead, The Problem, Not the Cure!

This morning, Governor Stupidhead was on the Fox Morning News.  Normally I would change the channel immediately, before the urge to puke overwhelmed me, but an interesting question was posed to him.  Whoever the male newscaster was, asked Stupidhead the following “Would he, if asked to be the Treasury Secretary by Barack Hussein Obama II, accept the position?”  Stupidhead answered that he had not thought about it at all.  He further went on to example how he had much more to do in New Jersey, especially in these “difficult times.”  What an arrogant SOB!  This state cannot survive more of Stupidhead’s ideas!

Both of the newscasters were falling over in praising this idiot, things like “well, Governor, you came from wall street and can use that experience to help the state out of its current crisis.”  What the hell type of crap is that?  He is not the cure, he is the problem!  He and all of his wall street cronies caused this market meltdown.  Now all of the lib media is looking to them to cure the problem they caused?  How damn stupid can they be?

What we need to do in this state is to clean house!  We can start in two weeks with local elections.  Look at the candidates!  Ask serious questions!  Ask them if they are going to spend money that the government does not have!  Ask them if they believe borrowing and spending is better than a budget that is within the financial means of the community?  Ask them if they are willing to get the unions upset and ask for across the board cuts of 10 to 20%?  Ask them if they are willing to demand more productivity from the current government workers under their control?  Ask them if they are willing to sacrifice the personal perks that come with their elected position?  Finally, ask them the hardest question of all, “do you care more for us, the citizens who are placing their fate in your hands, or are you only interested in self-profiting from the current system of corruption, cronyism and political power figures approval?”

Vote for the Hero, not the Zero!

To all of the idiots at every level of government, “IT’S TAXES, STUPID!”
